Just went and revisited this wonderful beach session. I can't get over how sweet these baby cheeks are!
"I'm super awkward in front of the camera." How is it that anytime someone says this it turns out to be not at all true?!?! I had so much fun photographing this wonderful woman. :)

Leah was the perfect model to showcase the incredible work of the talented Katherine Kemper, a well known hair dresser, make up artist, and stylist in Sanibel Island, Florida. I've been wanting to use a before and after slider to show you how my original image compares to my finished product. I did a really simple edit here, and I love it! I hope you do too. :)
Gen is absolutely gorgeous and made taking these head shots SO easy. We got so many great ones in just a quick 30 minute session.
There are dozens of great locations around Boca Raton to utilize, but I especially love this particular location- Spanish River Library. The library not only has beautiful architecture that looks amazing in the backdrop of photos but has a huge park as well. The greenery of the park and the sunlight reflecting off the lake in the morning is just magical.
If I could just take pictures of people doing yoga forever, I think I could be supremely happy. Yali is not only an amazing yogi, but she is such a genuine, kind, open person. I felt like we were instantly friends, and I think everyone feels this way about her! It was such a pleasure getting to shoot her in her element- the studio and on the beach in Captiva, Florida.
Christmastime became all the more precious to me when I had my own baby. The excitement and joy that the season entails is immeasurable. That is why I was so thrilled that the Prakash family asked me to do their holiday photos. Aren't they the most beautiful family?
oh man!! i've been dying to do a shoot with smoke bombs, and i couldn't be more excited about how this turned out.

I have been a fan of submitting to national geographic for a few months now, especially as an outlet for my bird photography (lol- i moved to florida and became a bird watcher). Recently, I submitted to a story entitled "Through the Eyes of a Child," and I'm so thrilled to say that one of my photos from this fun rainy set got chosen.
